edit- changed a few things that were bugging me

This was the most fun homework assignment ever... we were told to illustrate a cover/dust jacket for our favorite book or series (and anything goes) so I could absolutely not resist using my favorite comic book for the assignment.

I really should have used illustrator for this but i only have it on the PC so faking that "Vector" look in photoshop kind of made me hate the decision to go with a graphic flat style.

Anyway, enough rambling, Oboe is putting on a disco LIGHT SHOW!

well the comic is great by you creativity talks a beautiful story of that comic i never guess that exist the violinist i always hear about a flautist of hamelin i new story

Aah the comic gets very dark and very epic later on. It starts very very light hearted. I like both sides of it (the comedy and the drama both) but I tend to draw more of the drama. The image I drew is honestly more visually and tonally in line with the anime (which is ironic since I dislike the anime so much

)but the anime is super super super dark and very serious.

the flautist of hameln? you mean pied piper? that's the legend this story was based off of.

thank you for the correct me is the pied piper i always make mistakes about names i not gonna lie i like the style of cartoon but the teacher who teach me to draw only know how to draw anime but im trying to change it to another dark way to draw in caarton way so im very excited for start to read the story of violinist of hamelin
